Walk from Finchley to Hampstead Garden Suburb and back avoiding roads by using leafy glades and part of the Dollis Valley Greenway.
It’s worth talking about parking.  The pub has a very small car park and it would be unfair to park there all day.  The local roads are all resident parking but that, of course, only applies during the week.  You’ll find plenty of parking nearby.  I parked in Elmshurst Crescent opposite the pub.  Talbot Avenue is also a possibility.
